In July 2017, Soka Afika took part in the Moi soccer tournament held at Moi Educational Centre, the team represented in three age categories: U9, U11, and U13. U9 were eliminated in the group stages, while U11 were eliminated in the semifinals. U13 emerged champions in their category by defeating Makini School one goal to nil.
